Become a Follower

Calling all you bloggers out there! Have a blog and read the Inkpot Files? Want to get updates on posts without having to remember the URL everywhere you go? No problem. Click on the handy little button on the sidebar to your right and become a follower of this blog. The Inkpot Files will be added to your reading list on the dashboard and will be updated with all the new posts everytime you log on. You can choose to follow publically, which will add your profile pic and a link to your blog in the side bar. Not only will this let people know you support my blog, but it will bring interest to your own blog. If you want to follow anonymously, you can do that too. Haven't got a blog yet? Don't worry! It is easy to sign up to blogger and create your own blog. The good thing is, if you aren't on my reading list already, there is a strong possibility I will add your blog after you start following mine!

i presume you're not trying to enrol (subconsciously) those other types of followers (the scary ones)...

Never thought I'd see you recruiting for the shadow followers...

Haha, so I logged into publish my blog entry for the week-end, and I saw "1 follower(s)" written next to it. Somehow, I immediately knew without clicking through that it was you. ;)

This is a neat feature I didn't know about. I'm going to add you back. You're right, it really will save some time, rather than clicking through to those old comments, then to your profile, then finally to your blog.

Valpot I am shocked u would imply I was a recruiter for the shadow followers, even in jest! Glad u signed on all the same.

Anon, don't mind Valpot. Start a horse riding blog and sign up. I know u have loads of interesting tales to tell.

Mal, thanks for following! It has saved me time all ready. When I logged on today I saw your up date on my dashboard and I clicked right through to read it, saving me all the bother as you described. Isn't technology great :)

It's a wonder how we ever got along without it. Years from now, we'll say to our grandkids. "I remember life some fifty years ago before we had the "follower" button. It was a simpler time. We used to have to walk five miles just to check our neighbor's blog, but o loddy loddy, we was happy cuz we was po'.
